Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central in Ghana’s Western Region, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to the constituents for their unwavering support and trust in the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Her appreciation came during a thanksgiving service held at the Christian Resurrection Prayer Ministry International in Mamfe Akuapem, Eastern Region, on June 1, 2025. Themed “M’aseda Ni” (This is My Thanksgiving), the event was organized to thank God for a peaceful election and the party’s dual victory in both the presidential and parliamentary races in Amenfi Central.

Addressing the congregation, Hon. Gyan Cudjoe urged NDC members and supporters to remain committed and work harder to maintain the party's gains in future elections. She emphasized the importance of unity within the party and encouraged members to set aside personal differences and focus on the development and progress of the constituency.

Delivering the sermon, Bro. Emmanuel Kofi Nkansah, founder and leader of the Christian Resurrection Prayer Ministry, called on party faithfuls to keep their faith in God and strive for the collective good of the constituency and the nation. He also encouraged continuous prayer and divine guidance in all their efforts.

The well-attended event brought together regional executives of the NDC, Hon. Peter Amposah (District Chief Executive for Amenfi Central), traditional leaders, and community members. Following the prayer service, attendees participated in a social gathering, which served as a platform for party members to engage and strategize on developmental initiatives for the constituency.

The NDC has maintained political dominance in Amenfi Central since 2008. Hon. Gyan Cudjoe expressed confidence that with unity, hard work, and divine support, the party will continue to serve the people diligently and uphold its legacy in the area.
