The newly nominated District Chief Executive (DCE) for Amenfi Central, Hon. Peter Amponsah, has expressed his heartfelt appreciation to party leadership, constituents, and all stakeholders for their overwhelming support and encouragement following his nomination.

In a public statement issued on Saturday, Hon. Amponsah described his nomination as a great honor and pledged to work tirelessly to advance development and improve the well-being of the people of Amenfi Central.

"As I await confirmation from our respected Assembly Members, I am fully committed to working hand in hand with Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, traditional leaders, party executives, family members, and all stakeholders to realize our collective vision for the constituency," he stated.

He extended his profound gratitude to the Almighty God, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, the National and Regional Executives of the NDC, the Western Regional Minister, party faithfuls, branch executives, and fellow aspirants for their unwavering guidance and belief in his leadership potential.

Hon. Amponsah emphasized that the development challenges facing Amenfi Central—from healthcare and education to infrastructure and job creation—would be met with determination, innovation, and collaborative governance. He reaffirmed his commitment to serve with humility, transparency, and dedication.

Hon. Peter Amponsah currently serves as the Deputy Constituency Secretary for Amenfi Central and is awaiting confirmation as District Chief Executive.
