The All Nation University Graduate Students' Association, Ghana (GRASAG-ANU) has sworn in eleven member executives body to steer the affairs of the association and the school for 2026/2027 academic year at Koforidua Campus in the Eastern Region.
The new executives were sworn in at a a swearing-in ceremony held at All Nation University Old Campus in Koforidua.
His Excellency Prince Henry Tabi Buckner as President won by 61 votes 72.62 percent, Hon. Anthony Siaw, Vice President, Dr. Richard Amoako, Patron, Hon. Patrick Asare General Secretary won by 82 votes, 98.80 percent,
Hon. Henry Martey, Organiser, yes or no by 80 yes making 96.39 percent, Hon. Mariam Ofori Diabene won by 78 votes, 93.98 percent, Financial Controller, Hon. Joanna Phylis Somevi, 76 votes, 91.57 percent Gender Commissioner, Hon. Fati Mohammed, Assistant Secretary, Hon. Christopher Boadi, Deputy Organiser and Hon. Samson Agyei as Deputy Finance.
The President of GRASAG, Mr. Prince Henry said graduate leadership is not tittle but it is by impact, it is the willingness to step into spaces where problems exists and to remain there until change happens.
"Let us remember that the strength of our nation depends on the health of the people, the knowledge its youth and the fairness of its opportunities. Together, with humility to resolve, we can forge a Ghana where equity is more than aspiration, it is reality"
According to him, it was necessary for him to contest for the position in order to execute programmes and initiatives that interests the graduste students and the entire populace to support academic development.
President Henry and the executives has pledged, GRASAG leadership has a focused on improving transportation by soliciting for funds to purchase mini bus to enhance research and mobility.
He also assured to provide initiative to support graduate students includes the establishment of a research support hub which includes plans for equipping lecture halls with projectors and printer for reaserchsupport grants.
He added that, as part of the broader students welfare and research enablement, ANU-GRASAG chapter executives have made it a priority to equip students spaces with equipment to enhance educational bodies to make projectors available for graduate students.
He said the current 2026/2027 executives generally pledged to improve students facilities and research capabilities.
Mr. Henry with much enthusiasm and gratitude indicated that the massive support he had from the graduate students indicated that expectations were high for massive achievements.
The President of All Nation University and the Chairman of the Impact Conference, Rev. Professor Samuel Donkor has appealed to the GRASAG leadership to reject mediocracy and strive for academic and professional excellence.
He highlighted that graduates have responsibility to contribute to national development and that setting for average standards hinders both personal growth and national progress.
The All Nation University leadership and academic authorities have encouraged the Graduate Students' Association, Ghana (GRASAG) to act as ambassadors of excellence, aiming for, or fostering, societal impact and transformation.
Professor Donkor added that reframed graduate education as a "laboratory for leadership, urging them to move beyond being passive learners and to take ownership of their role in the society.
