There have been reports of the death of Corporal Samuel Apraku, a young member of the Ghana Police Service in the Ashanti Region.
Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Minister, reported the officer's death on Friday, February 20, 2026.

Dr. Amoakohene praised the young police officer and offered his sympathies to the family in a Facebook post, calling him a diligent worker and dedicated individual.
