Aspiring National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP),Bernard Antwi Boasiako,popularly known as Chairman Wontumi,has promised to help create employment opportunities for young people if elected to lead the party.According to him, an NPP government under Dr Mahamudu Bawumia in 2028,together with his leadership as National Chairman,would improve job prospects for graduates and unemployed youth across the country.Speaking to members of the Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON) and students of the University of Ghana Business School on Saturday,May 16,2026,Chairman Wontumi said his leadership would contribute to solving Ghana’s unemployment challenges.“This is what I have to say.If you make me the National Chairman and Dr Bawumia becomes the president in 2028,God will use me to create jobs in this country,” he said.
