Tracey Boakye, a Ghanaian producer and actress, has advised Ghanaians to exercise caution when lending a hand to others. Her counsel comes after she addressed a public spat with fellow performer Kyekyeku in a TikTok live session. Tracey, who previously gave Kyekyeku $2,000 to encourage him in his early career, voiced her disappointment in him. She disclosed that, in spite of her kindness, Kyekyeku has routinely disregarded her calls and turned down invitations to participate in her projects. The actress talked about how she tried to get in touch with Kyekyeku, calling and messaging him in the hopes of collaborating.
She acknowledged how devastating his silence had been. Tracey also claimed speaking with Kyekyeku over the phone in her live broadcast, implying that their exchanges would validate her statements. She also said that her fans would be devastated if they saw the texts. Online, Tracey's article generated a contentious discussion. Some thought she was wrong to bring the matter to the public's attention, while others praised her for speaking up.
"Did you give him the money to help him or to use him?" asked Destiny, a social media user. Why bring it up now if it came from the bottom of your heart? Edmond Official, another user, disagreed, stating, "Kyekyeku didn't try at all." Respect should be shown to someone who assisted you. Tracey advises Ghanaians to be careful yet friendly. Not everyone will value or return your assistance, she warned her audience. Though perspectives on the turmoil between Tracey and Kyekyeku are still divided, one thing is certain: her message speaks to people who have experienced similar circumstances.
Tracey Boakye was more happier and enjoying life abroad prior to her altercation with Kyekyeku. The wealthy actress chartered a pricey chopper and used it to tour the city of New York in a video that was seen online. Enjoying the lovely perspective of the city from a few feet above the ground, she had a good time.
