According to unverified sources, Karikari, the father-in-law of Sammy Gyamfi, the CEO of the Ghana Gold Board (GOLDBOD), passed away.Asaase Radio said that the guy died on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, after being shot after a fictitious armed robbery attack at his home in Kumasi on Friday, February 13, 2026.
