Rapper Sarkodie has been viciously abused by Ghanaian musician and social media star Showboy, who claims that Sarkodie unfairly excluded him from one of Ghana's largest performances and displayed partiality in the music industry.

On September 26, 2025, an emotional Showboy lash out in a video that was uploaded to X:


"You only assist those with poor self-esteem. Those who submit to you in humility. You can't bring such dumb items to my door because I am my own boss.

He cited the yearly Rapperholic concert series as proof that Sarkodie had tried to marginalize him by focusing primarily on singers under his control.

Kwaku Smoke and other young artists are being brought to your Rapperholic for this reason. Showboy declared, "There is no way I will respect you again because I have seen you don't respect me."

He conveyed his profound disappointment at being excluded.


"Sarkodie, what are you going to show me? I had remained silent all this time because I respect your brother for his assistance. However, that is completely disrespectful of you to do Rapperholic without mentioning me," he stated.

On September 27, 2025, Sarkodie's main concert brand, Rapperholic, will take place at Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi with the theme "The Homecoming."

The concert's stellar lineup, which includes performers like Shatta Wale and Kwaku Smoke, has already been revealed.
