Sammy Gyamfi boldly declared on the Metro TV Morning Show that he would quickly go if he were to arrive in paradise and discover Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo there. His comments were made during a conversation about the persistent issue of illicit mining, or "galamsey."
The way the government has handled galamsey, which has seriously harmed Ghana's ecosystem, especially its forests and waterways, has angered him. He claims that important natural resources have been destroyed as a result of the current administration's ineffective crisis management under Akufo-Addo and Bawumia.
