The problems facing incarcerated Ghanaian former fetish priestess Nana Agradaa, whose true name is Patricia Asiedua, keep getting worse.

Her reappearance in court today, July 30, 2025, comes just weeks after she was given a 15-year prison sentence for fraud and charlatanic advertising.


Her husband Angel Asiamah and her legal team were seen entering the Accra High Court to reply to a separate lawsuit filed by controversial preacher Emmanuel Appiah Enim, commonly known as Appiah Biblical, in a covertly filmed video that was discovered on the social media page of Ghanaian vlogger Dadzie TV.

The video also shows Nana Agradaa being led out of the courthouse by a large group of jail guards, all of whom are wearing formal attire, as her movements draw a lot of attention from the public.
Since cameras are strictly prohibited on court property, the YouTuber captured the event from their parked vehicle.

The reason for this court appearance is the long-running conflict between Prophet Appiah Enim and Agradaa, which began in 2021. Agradaa's reported display of intimate private images of the prophet on her TV station, Thunder TV, intensified the debate beyond the usual internet insults.

She was detained and accused of distributing private photos without consent in 2022 under Section 67(1) of the Cybersecurity Act (Act 1038). When she was charged with possessing and promoting indecent material in July 2024, the situation deteriorated. According to reports, she advertised a herbal product—possibly a kind of bitters—to her church audience, and the explicit pictures were placed on the labels in addition to being broadcast live.
