He has frequently asserted that John Dramani Mahama would not have much to offer Ghanaians if he were to win the presidency again and has repeatedly prophesied that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia would win the 2024 elections.

Nonetheless, it is well recognized from a number of sources that the NDC's John Dramani Mahama has won the elections.
