During a recent visit to the United Kingdom (UK), Bernard Antwi Bosiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), went back to his modest origins. Before becoming a well-known businessman and political figure in Ghana, the well-liked politician lived and worked as a cleaner for many years in Croydon, New Addington, South London. He was seen on the streets of this neighborhood. During his recent visit, Chairman Wontumi met several members of the Ghanaian community residing in the UK and posed for pictures with them on the street. Following his party's crushing defeat, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) traveled to the UK to unwind and re-establish a connection with his history.
