The cut, according to ADUG, fulfills its long-standing pledge that any significant exchange rate stabilization would result in more equitable car prices rather than excessive profiteering. The Union observed that exchange rate instability, hefty import levies, transportation expenses, and pressures from the global supply chain have all had a major impact on Ghanaian car prices in recent months.It continuously reassured the people throughout that time that pricing will be reconsidered as the economy improved.ADUG stated that its members had fulfilled that commitment by modifying costs for a variety of vehicles, including new, hybrid, electric, and home-used automobiles, thanks to recent advancements and comparatively stable exchange rate conditions."The Union has consistently promised Ghanaians that any significant exchange rate stabilization will result in more equitable automobile pricing rather than excessive profiteering, and this decisive step underscores that commitment.
