The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has awarded Kumawood star Matilda Asare a Master of Science degree in Management and Human Resource Strategy.

Apostle John Prah, a colleague and fellow actor, joined her in celebrating the academic accomplishment. He posted a video of the happy occasion as Matilda celebrated her milestone in style.


Under her green KNUST graduation robe, Matilda Asare wore a beautiful Kente ensemble for the June 27, 2025, graduation ceremony. Fans and well-wishers praised her when she later shared snippets of the event on social media.

The one-year MSc program is designed to develop critical thinking, leadership, and analytical abilities while giving students a solid foundation in business management concepts.

Matilda, who is well-known for her outstanding performances in Kumawood movies, this latest achievement joins the rising number of Ghanaian performers who are pursuing academic success in addition to their artistic endeavors.
