After a groom apparently found an old Facebook photo of his fiancée smoking what was described as "Canadian Loud," a strong cannabis strain, a planned wedding ceremony in Nigeria was quickly canceled.

Sources close to the pair said that when the man saw the picture online, the ceremony was already in the planning stages.The picture, which seems to have been shared years ago, soon became a source of conflict between the two.



The groom reportedly refused to go ahead with the marriage despite the bride-to-be's repeated assurances that the picture represented a previous stage of her life and not her present conduct or way of life. According to witnesses, the ceremony was abruptly canceled after friends and relatives tried in vain to reconcile the conflict.
