His family claims that on Saturday, July 26, 2025, just after Daddy Lumba's passing was broadcast on the radio, he passed out. Shortly thereafter, he was declared dead despite efforts to resuscitate him. Kumah was characterized as an ardent fan by close friends and family. He really was a fan. He was known to all as "Lumba." He kept up with everything that Daddy Lumba did, including his concerts, songs, and even fashion sense. One person commented, "The news just broke him."
According to his family, he will be laid to rest on August 16, 2025, in Ahinsan, close to the Church of Pentecost. Charles Kwadwo Fosu, also known as Daddy Lumba, died at the age of sixty.
