Duncan-Williams told his audience, "President John Dramani Mahama is a very humble man. The man is not conceited and does not seek revenge. Sometimes it broke my heart to see what certain people did to this person. He has proof, but he has ignored it and is acting as if nothing has occurred. He further recalled a circumstance when an individual who had previously launched verbal attacks and insulted the President while he was in opposition. According to Duncan Williams, Mahama greeted this individual with a loving embrace rather than resentment. "I met him and someone else at a meeting the other day.
When this man [Mahama] was standing up, this person insulted him. I had discussed it with him while he was against it. He encountered a man who was unsure of what to do and attempted to avoid him. However, he called him and hugged him, and I said, "Papa wei nso," which means this man, when I saw it. The man later told me that he had been summoned and hugged, and he asked me what the deed meant. He recounted, "I told him that it's a sign of a statesman and that he is bigger and better than you."
In a linked article, Nicholas Duncan-Williams has praised President Mahama and attested to his concern for Ghana's best interests. According to the man of God, President Mahama is a selfless person without a selfish heart, in contrast to some other presidents. Duncan Williams told his congregation, "I'm telling you, this guy (Mahama) means well for this country."
