According to information obtained by Citi News, Frederick Kumi, also known as Abu Trica, a Ghanaian national, has been deported to the US to face charges in connection with an alleged $8 million romance fraud case.According to people familiar with the situation, Delta Airlines aircraft DL 157 carried Abu Trica out of Ghana on Thursday, July 9.His extradition comes after the High Court in Accra ordered on July 2 that he be turned over to US authorities to deal with accusations that he was involved in a romantic fraud scam.Oliver Barker Vormawor, Abu Trica's attorney, had previously revealed that his client had allegedly been transported to the Police Hospital in Accra and expressed concerns about his inability to see him prior to the extradition.Prior to the procedure, Barker-Vormawor claimed he was unable to find or meet Abu Trica.
