KENYA — Due to an affair with his wife, a Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) soldier brutally attacked a gym trainer in Nairobi's Umoja estate, resulting in his death.Alphy Migasha, the victim, is said to have met Nicholas Ireri, the soldier, shortly after Ireri returned from deployment in Somalia and discovered the purported relationship.Ireri approached Migasha when he was sitting outside a liquor store in Umoja One, according to CCTV footage taken on December 22, 2025.Before the altercation swiftly descended into violence, the two seemed to exchange a few words.As stunned bystanders tried to step in, Ireri was seen violently dragging Migasha to the ground and brutally attacking him.The victim was left defenseless and groaning in agony as the soldier quietly left after the attack.
