PAOG claims that the victim passed suddenly soon after collapsing during the circumambulation of the Kaaba, a crucial Hajj pilgrimage ritual that entails walking in a circle around the holy building. While plans are in place for his remains to be prepared for Janaza prayers following Jumu'ah prayers prior to burial, the office confirmed that the grieving family has been officially informed of his passing.
