Five persons perished two days ago when a car they were riding in swerved off the Dabaa-Akropong road and fell into the Owabi River in the Ashanti area, killing them. Her two daughters, the driver of the private Opel saloon car, and two other passengers—a plumber and a female teacher from Akropong Roman Catholic Basic School—were all killed.
The vehicle crashed into the river, which had exceeded its banks due to recent rainfall, according to witnesses. Videos from the tragic event revealed that the kids were wearing their school uniforms, indicating that they were en route to school.
The husband who lost his wife and two children has spoken for the first time since the tragic event. In an interview, the man who seemed to have been crying for days revealed that he has trouble falling asleep.
He claims that he can't get the memory of his late wife and children out of his mind.
