ACCRA, GHANA - Sports administrator and Accra Majestics Sports Academy Founder, Rachel Ankomah, has taken on a new role as General Manager of the Ghana Jump Rope & Skipping Federation.

Ankomah brings extensive experience across sports administration, communications, athlete development and sports management to her new position.

As the Founder and President of Accra Majestics Sports Academy, Ankomah has been involved in building and managing a multi-sport development platform, creating opportunities for athletes across different sporting disciplines.

Her experience also extends beyond the club environment. She has held various roles across Ghana’s sporting landscape, including work in sports development, communications, team management and women’s sports.

In her capacity as General Manager, Ankomah will be part of the federation’s administrative and operational leadership as it works towards the development and promotion of jump rope and skipping in Ghana.

Her appointment also places two sports administrators with existing ties to Accra Majestics in key leadership positions within the federation, with Samira Mensah, the Academy’s Women’s Representative, serving as President.

The new roles come at a time when Ghana continues to explore opportunities to broaden participation across different sporting disciplines and strengthen structures for athlete development.

Ankomah’s combination of grassroots sports experience, administration and communications will now be brought to the federation as she takes on this new responsibility.

RA Media Gh congratulates Rachel Ankomah on her appointment as General Manager of the Ghana Jump Rope & Skipping Federation and wishes her success in her new role.
