A Call to Africa: Unity, Empowerment, and Progress

Accra will play host to a major continental event as the Emerge US Conference brings together some of Africa’s most dynamic thought leaders, innovators, and agents of change.

Under the theme “Making Africa Great Again,” the conference will spark transformative conversations around education, empowerment, and faith-inspired entertainment.

Speaking at a media briefing in Accra, Dr. Angela Harris, the visionary behind the initiative, outlined the event’s core objective: to provide a platform for strategic collaboration and forward-thinking solutions that shape the continent’s future.

Adding her voice to the movement, Jessica Twumasi, former NUGS Secretary for Women’s Development and current producer of the conference, called on Ghanaians to fully support the initiative.

“This is more than just a conference,” Twumasi said. “It’s a movement committed to empowering individuals and building networks that will drive sustainable growth across Africa.”

Organizers say the three-day event will include a dynamic blend of keynote addresses, workshops, exhibitions, and performances, all tailored to align with the conference’s mission of holistic African empowerment.
