Several young Ghanaians have successfully completed nursing, midwifery and other tertiary education programmes after benefiting from a fully funded scholarship initiative by Relief and Aid International (RAI), a foundation established by humanitarian advocate Peggy Naa Ayikailey Adamafio.
The beneficiaries, who graduated between December 2025 and early 2026, are expected to contribute to Ghana’s healthcare system and national development through their respective professional fields.
The RAI scholarship programme, which focuses on human capital development, provides comprehensive support including tuition, accommodation, learning materials and stipends. This support enables beneficiaries to focus fully on their academic work without financial pressure.
Out of 46 students supported under the scheme, seven of the 18 nursing-related beneficiaries and four students enrolled in four-year university programmes have successfully completed their studies.
