The Ministry of Health has announced the introduction of a new mobile application aimed at streamlining the admissions process for health training institutions across Ghana.

In a press statement released this week, the Ministry revealed that the digital platform is designed to enhance accessibility, convenience, and transparency for prospective students seeking entry into health-related training programs. The move marks a significant shift from the traditional method of purchasing admission forms at physical sales points.

As part of the transition to the digital system, the Ministry has revised the admission timeline. The sale of forms, which was originally scheduled to begin on April 22, 2025, will now commence on May 5, 2025. The new deadline for purchasing forms is June 5, 2025.

“The enhanced mobile app is intended to ease the burden on applicants by allowing them to purchase and submit admission forms from the comfort of their homes,” the Ministry stated. It added that the new system will cut down on travel time and expenses previously incurred by applicants and their families.

The Ministry also expressed gratitude to the public for their patience and cooperation during this transition. It reaffirmed its commitment to building a more efficient and user-friendly admissions system for health education in Ghana.
