The General Overseer of the Spiritlife Revival Ministries, Prophet Bernard Elbernard Nelson-Eshun, has shared what he deems are some spiritual insights on the 2028 Ghanaian presidential election.
Delivering a sermon to his congregation in a viral video sighted by GhanaWeb, Prophet Bernard, who spoke in a very cryptic language, alluded to the presidential election being like an hourglass.
"The 2028 election is like the hourglass," he stated.
Illustrating his prophecy with a chair, the prophet confirmed that the election will be between the two main political parties, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He alluded that while the NPP will have a leading candidate in the race, the NDC on the other side will experience a serious power struggle over who should lead the party.
"2028 election, this is what I saw: a man from the right side, you know we have right wing and left wing, so whatever you understand, we'll leave it like that. So this man came and sat down; immediately he sat down, he got up and held this side. As he sat down, he got up and he started holding here. Then, this one also came and held the other side. Another person came, as if what this one is looking for, another person came as if he is looking for the same thing. Then another person came, so it's like three against one. Then this one comes and is behind them, so it's like four but three leading against one. And then this one also began to call someone to come; this one does not even get there, and the vision ends," he stated.
At the end of his illustration, which he conducted with a chair and some junior pastors, one person was holding on to the left arm of the chair with one individual standing behind him, while three others were holding on to the right arm with another individual standing behind them.
Without being too specific, the Prophet shared details of the identities of the subjects of his prophecy using initials.
On the left-hand side, which represented the NDC, he said the sole individual holding on to the arm of the chair was a certain AK, while the individual behind him was a certain AB.
"The Lord said in the month of March, I will tell you how the election will be like. So this is AK. Put it at the back of your mind; this is AK and this is AB," he stated.
On the other hand of the chair, representing the NPP, Prophet Bernard gave the initials of the three individuals and the other person behind them, including one which he said represented a certain insect.
"This is an insect, this is J, this is IH, this is BO. This is the NPP side and this is the NDC side. You can go and do whatever I have said," he stated.
He indicated that the insect, which is from the NDC side, was enjoying about an 89% lead in the race. He added that the destiny of former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who came second in the 2024 presidential election, if he seeks re-election, should partner with AK as his running mate.
"When we meet in March, I will give you the names to all of these by the grace of God, and I will show you who will sit on the chair, and I will explain why the 2028 election is like the hourglass. I was telling somebody if they don't want this to happen, they should pray because on this side, one of them from one to hundred, the first one, the insect is around 89%, and there is nobody in the party who is around 49. So I said if some people want to become, what is the destiny of the former vice president? The destiny of the former vice president, by what I have seen, there are two windows... If it must happen, he must go and look for AK and tell AK, 'Can I join you so that I become your running mate?' So that AK comes first, he can come second," he stated.
Prophet Bernard Elbernard Nelson-Eshun credits himself with accurately predicting the outcome of the 2024 presidential election, which saw President John Dramani Mahama emerging victor over Dr. Bawumia.
The NDC as a party has given credit to some religious leaders for being instrumental in their victory in the election.
