Government begins selling of nursing training forms

The Ministry of Health has announced the sale of nursing training institutions across the country.

The sale of the forms began on May 5, 2025.

The portal, which was unveiled by health minister Kwabena Mintah Akandoh on May 5, 2025, is designed to improve accessibility, transparency, and convenience in admissions.
Speaking about the portal, the minister highlighted its user-friendly nature, stating, "The portal allows applicants to complete the entire process-voucher purchase, application submission, and tracking-from the comfort of their homes, using their mobile phones or computers."

He explained that the previous application process posed challenges for applicants, especially those in remote areas, as families often had to incur significant travel costs and face various risks to secure admission.

To further improve the process, the Ministry has also established a 24-hour call center to assist applicants throughout their journey.

Meanwhile, the Ministry has announced a reduction in the cost of application forms for health training institutions.

For the 2025/2026 academic year, the price of application forms has been reduced from GH¢200 to GH¢150, making it more affordable for prospective students.
