The Data Protection Commission (DPC) has announced the relocation of its offices from East Legon to a new and more centrally accessible location in Accra.

According to a statement issued by the Commission and signed by the Head of Corporate Affairs, the move takes effect Monday, October 20, 2025.

The DPC will now operate from its new premises situated at the former Information Services Department, directly opposite the Accra City Campus of the University of Ghana.

The Commission explained that the relocation forms part of a broader strategy to enhance public accessibility, improve service delivery, and foster stronger engagement with stakeholders within Ghana’s data protection ecosystem.

“This strategic move is aimed at enhancing accessibility, improving service delivery, and ensuring closer engagement with the public and all relevant stakeholders,” the statement noted.

The DPC further assured the public that its contact numbers, email addresses, and digital service platforms remain unchanged. It also urged all correspondence, official visits, and inquiries to be directed to the new office location.

The Commission expressed appreciation to the public for their continued cooperation and reaffirmed its commitment to promoting and enforcing personal data protection across the country.
