Former Dome-Kwabenya Member of Parliament, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has shared a remarkable account of spiritual challenges she faced during her initial bid for parliamentary office.

Speaking in a video that has gained traction on social media, Adwoa Safo revealed that certain individuals attempted to use her photograph and footprints in rituals aimed at causing her harm.

However, she credited her father, Apostle Safo Kantanka, for shielding her from these spiritual attacks.

According to her, his spiritual intervention rendered the attempts ineffective.

"During my first parliamentary election contest, some people took my picture and sand from my footprints for rituals.

But whenever they tried to summon my spirit, my father would appear to protect me," she recounted.

Adwoa Safo further explained that the perpetrators were unable to harm her, as her father's presence thwarted their efforts.

She described how ritualists reportedly mistook her image for that of a man and were warned against invoking her name.

"It reached a point where they said they should never mention my name again. I don’t know how to thank my father enough," she added.

The former MP has been vocal about her experiences and challenges during her tenure, using media platforms to discuss her journey within the New Patriotic Party and the obstacles she encountered in her political career.
