Kofi Karikari Earns TGMA 27 Nomination With “Stamina”

Award-winning Ghanaian gospel musician Kofi Karikari has been nominated in the Best Urban/Contemporary Gospel Song category at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards 27 with his latest single, “Stamina.”

The nomination comes after the release of “Stamina” alongside another single, “Ayee,” both of which have been well received by gospel music audiences across the country and beyond.

“Stamina” has gained attention for its contemporary sound and inspirational message, encouraging listeners to remain steadfast and resilient in their faith despite life’s challenges. The song reflects Kofi Karikari’s signature style of blending powerful vocals with uplifting, spiritually driven themes.

Kofi Karikari, who hails from Takoradi, began his musical journey during his school years and later developed his craft at Presbyterian University, where he served as Music Director for the Mass Choir. Over the years, he has built a reputation as a worship leader and songwriter, releasing songs such as “We Bow Down and Worship Yahweh,” “Meda W’ase,” and “Who Say God No Dey.”



His debut album, “Lifted High,” further established him in the gospel music scene, earning significant airplay and recognition within and beyond Ghana.

The Telecel Ghana Music Awards remain one of the country’s most prestigious music award schemes, celebrating outstanding achievements across various genres. Kofi Karikari’s nomination put the spotlight on his continued relevance and contribution to the growth of contemporary gospel music in Ghana.
