Fernandez Addy, popularly known as DJ PlaxTYK, has been nominated for the Best Promoter DJ Award at the upcoming Central Music Awards. This recognition highlights his impressive journey in the music industry and his commitment to promoting local talent.



DJ PlaxTYK's passion for music began in 2005, inspired by his older brother, a well-respected DJ. He started his professional DJ career in 2015 after completing senior high school, initially performing at pubs and restaurants. By 2018, he had made his mark at the nightclub scene, playing at Samrit Hotel and ObraPa FM.




In addition to his DJing, DJ PlaxTYK ventured into event organizing with a friend, where they hosted popular events at UCC campus, including Haze, 11:11, and Fusion. In 2023, he joined the EN•AR Family as the Resident DJ for Club 161 and recently became a Production DJ for TW Radio.



His nomination for the Best Promoter DJ Award reflects his hard work and dedication to uplifting the music culture in the Central Region. As the awards ceremony approaches, DJ PlaxTYK is excited to inspire others and continue supporting local artists in their musical journeys.
