The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, was formally invited to the National Research Fund's official launch by the Governing Board during a courtesy call. The delegation thanked the Speaker and Parliament for their ongoing support since the Board's founding in 2020, under the direction of Board Chairman Professor Eric Ureni Danquah.
The Speaker responded by thanking the group and reiterating Parliament's support for the Fund. Noting that no society can advance without solid scientific foundations, he underlined the significance of research in national development.Additionally, he promised that the Board of Parliament would fully participate in the formal launch.
