With 308 votes, former vice president Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia won handily at the New Patriotic Party (NPP) headquarters polling place in the party's current presidential primary.
Dr. Bryan Acheampong and Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum each received three votes, while Kennedy Agyapong received 160 votes.Kwabena Agyei Agyapong received seven votes.
481 legitimate ballots were cast out of the 997 anticipated voters; one ballot was rejected. The voting is a component of the NPP's national primary to choose its flagbearer in advance of the general elections in 2028.
