Nana Adwoa Tutuwaa, Chief Executive Officer of the Nhyiramma Foundation and Country Representative for the United World Congress of Diplomats (UN-WCD), has been honoured with the prestigious Triumphant Change Maker Award 2025 at the recently held She Triumph Awards.
The award recognizes her outstanding leadership, advocacy, and tireless efforts in championing the cause of women, widows, and single mothers, while also spearheading impactful initiatives to improve child welfare and promote community development.
For more than 15 years, Nana Adwoa, through the Nhyiramma Foundation, has been a beacon of hope and a transformative change maker whose influence transcends borders.
Her unwavering commitment to humanitarian service and the economic empowerment of women has transformed thousands of lives and inspired a new generation of women to rise and make an impact.
The She Triumph Awards ceremony, held on September 28, 2025, brought together female trailblazers, industry leaders, and creative forces whose contributions continue to transform society.
The well-organized event celebrated 20 exceptional women who are breaking barriers and making groundbreaking contributions across diverse industries on the African continent.
Among the distinguished honourees were legendary broadcaster Oheneyere Gifty Anti, politician Obuobia Darko-Opoku, and gospel music icon Cindy Thompson, alongside many other influential women.
In her acceptance remarks, Nana Adwoa Tutuwaa expressed heartfelt gratitude for the honour, dedicating the award to her mother and to all women striving to overcome barriers and create lasting change in their communities.
She reaffirmed her commitment to scaling up the work of the Nhyiramma Foundation, with a focus on advancing women’s economic empowerment and expanding social interventions for vulnerable groups.
She further emphasized the importance of collaboration and partnerships, noting that the Foundation is poised to engage stakeholders both locally and internationally to drive sustainable development, particularly in rural Ghana.
