Ahodwo Farms, in partnership with the Mawu Klenam Foundation, has made a generous donation to 30 women from the Manya, Tesanya, and Konopiem communities in the Asuogyaman District of the Eastern Region.
The beneficiaries included widows, pregnant women, and nursing mothers. The donated items comprised essential goods such as diapers, bags of washing soap, boxes of Dettol, bags of rice, bottles of vegetable oil, and toothpaste.
Prior to the distribution, founder of the Mawu Klenam Foundation, Edna Oliver Asare, expressed admiration for the resilience and dedication of women and mothers in the community. She stated that their strength and commitment to caring for their families had deeply touched her and motivated the initiative.
Mr. Kofi Ansah, CEO of Ahodwo Farms, also commended the initiative and pledged further support. He announced plans to offer job opportunities and accommodation to women under the Mawu Klenam Foundation’s support programmes who are in need of employment on his farm.

Madam Okyere, the community health nurse at Tortibo CHPS, expressed heartfelt appreciation to the donors and offered blessings for their generosity. The women, visibly moved, expressed joy and gratitude upon receiving their packages.

The collaboration between Ahodwo Farms and the Mawu Klenam Foundation highlights the importance of community partnerships in supporting and empowering vulnerable women, especially those facing economic and social hardship.
