Ebi Bright of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has emerged victorious in the Tema Central Parliamentary election. The results of the closely contested election were announced recently.
Bright secured a total of 18,539 votes, narrowly defeating her opponent, Charles Forson of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Forson garnered 18,421 votes, falling short of Bright's tally by just 118 votes.
The election was highly contested, with both parties campaigning vigorously in the constituency. However, in the end, Bright's efforts paid off, and she was declared the winner.
Bright's victory is a significant win for the NDC, which has been working to strengthen its presence in the Tema Central constituency. The party's supporters are likely to be thrilled by the news, which could give them a boost ahead of future elections.
The outcome of the election is a testament to the democratic process in Ghana, where voters have the power to choose their representatives. Bright's victory is a reflection of the will of the people, and she will be expected to serve the interests of her constituents in the coming years.
