Cornerstone International Academy in East Legon is temporarily closing due to a tragic car accident that claimed the lives of two students on October 12, 2024. The incident involved a collision between two vehicles, one driven by the 16-year-old son of Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako.

The school expressed deep sorrow and announced a mid-term break from October 15-21, 2024, to allow students and staff to grieve and support the affected families.

"The school community is in deep mourning... We stand in solidarity with the families, offering thoughts and prayers," the statement read.

The break aims to provide emotional support to students, staff, and families during this difficult time. Condolences and prayers continue to pour in for the victims and their loved ones.
