In a significant development for the Upper East Region, Miss Fawzia Abagnabah Yakubu has been appointed and sworn in as a member of the Governing Council of Bolgatanga Technical University.

The swearing-in ceremony was conducted by Education Minister Haruna Iddrisu on the university campus on Wednesday July 23rd.

Miss Yakubu, who also serves as the Upper East Regional NDC Women's Organizer and the Regional Coordinator of the Ghana School Feeding Program, shared her excitement and commitment on Facebook sighted by Joseph Elom Dumolga.

She expressed deep humility and gratitude, stating.
