Award winning Ghanaian singer Mary Apodita known on stage as Apodita is out with her new single titled "WA" to wit, "Dance" in the Frafra language of Ghana.

Apodita this time enters the music market or Showbiz in Central Africa.

She settled on collaborating with Angolan guitarist and multi-instrumentalist, Carlos Praia, for this vibrant cross-border project.

WA has been released since October 18th, 2026 across all major streaming platforms.

The project “Wa’” is deeply inspired by the traditional Frafra dance, capturing its energetic and vibrant essence.

The track masterfully pairs rhythmic guitar, a driving bassline, dynamic percussions, and powerful vocal harmonies.

This blend creates a beautiful contrast that pulses with high-energy rhythm.
The collaboration brings together two distinct musical worlds.

As usual, Apodita delivers her signature unique melodic style, while Carlos Praia, an accomplished composer and educator whose work bridges jazz, African music, and pop, adds his world-class instrumentation.

Carlos Praia’s impressive resume includes performing with the African Union Band and collaborating with Roc Nation-associated artist Victory Boyd.

Together, Apodita and Carlos Praia have crafted a track that is more than just a song; it is a rhythmic celebration of culture.
