George Afriyie, the former vice president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has called the current Executive Council of the GFA "extremely weak."

His remarks come in the wake of Kurt Okraku's national teams' underwhelming performances.

Mr. Afriyie voiced his concerns over the Executive Council's lack of examination of Mr. Okraku's judgments in an interview with Asempa FM's Ultimate Sports Show.

He asked why such decisions were not being questioned or challenged by the members.

Although he exonerated Dr. Randy Abbey of any misconduct, Afriyie implied that several of the Executive Council members have close relationships with Mr. Okraku, which could account for their silence.

He declared, "The Ghana Football Association's (GFA) current Executive Council is extremely weak." "Dr. Randy Abbey is the only person I am aware of who will be contacted when making decisions.

Afriyie remarked, "This will not happen in my time under Kwesi Nyantakyi as Ghana Football Association (GFA) president," in reference to his tenure under the former GFA president. It surprises me that some of the decisions are not being questioned.

He went on to say, "The current Executive Council is really weak."
