The Madina Job Center (MJC), the flagship youth empowerment initiative of Hon. Dr. Francis-Xavier Sosu, will host a grand graduation ceremony on Thursday, April 30th, 2026, to celebrate the successful completion of training for its latest cohorts of vocational trainees in Catering and Beauty.

Since its inception, MJC has evolved from a job-matching platform into a skills factory, addressing youth unemployment by providing free, high-demand vocational training. This graduation marks a milestone in the Center's Matriculation-to-Market strategy, preparing students to launch their own small businesses.

The Catering department has seen significant success, with Cohorts 1 and 2 undergoing intensive training in commercial food preparation, business literacy, and market positioning. The Makeup Artistry and Beautician graduates have mastered skincare analysis, professional makeup application, and bridal styling, equipping them with tools and mentorship to thrive in the booming "glam" economy.

Hon. Dr. Francis-Xavier Sosu emphasizes entrepreneurship, stating, "Our focus at the Madina Job Center is entrepreneurship. When we train a caterer or a makeup artist, we aren't just giving them a skill; we are seeding a new micro-enterprise that will eventually hire others in Madina."

The graduation ceremony will feature exhibitions showcasing the students' culinary creations and beauty artistry. Community members, local business leaders, and stakeholders are invited to witness the transformation of Madina's youth into entrepreneurs.
