Ghanaian artist Benson Lution has released his new single, “TiNiNi (Kudi),” a high-energy Afrobeats/Highlife record built around the excitement of receiving money.
The title captures the concept in two parts: “TiNiNi” describes the tingling, instant excitement of money coming in a salary alert, an unexpected payment, a surprise gift, while “Kudi” simply means money. Together, they sum up the feeling the song is built around.
“I wanted to capture the emotion and power around money, the feeling you get when it comes in, how people spend it, and the reality of not having it, all in one exciting song,” Benson Lution said.
The track carries a clear message: go out and make money, and use it to improve your life. It celebrates the joy money can bring while staying grounded in the everyday reality of what it means to people.
“I want listeners to reconnect with that feeling they get when they receive money, a salary alert, unexpected cash, a gift, or just knowing they have money in their account,” he added. “I want the song to bring back that instant feeling of happiness, joy and excitement.”
