VOLTA REGION IS GHANA'S SPIRITUAL GATEWAY - ARCHBISHOP ODAFE

Archbishop Mike Odafe, Chairman of the Charismatic Council for Nigeria and Chancellor of Mike Odafe University, has described the Volta Region as Ghana's spiritual gateway, citing the presence of the revered Order of the Volta. Speaking at an ecumenical meeting with ministers and opinion leaders from the Volta Region, Odafe emphasized the region's significance and potential.

According to Archbishop Odafe, the Volta Region is home to a large population of young people, making it a hub for creativity and innovation. He stated that the region's untapped wealth is a result of underutilized potential. "The wealth of this nation which is untapped is in the Volta Region," he said.

Archbishop Odafe urged attendees to take charge of their own destiny, emphasizing the importance of self-reliance and mental empowerment. "We went to school not so that government will help you," he said. "The mind is a functional force of the soul. A functional mind will build a nation."

A leadership workshop will be held to provoke the minds of participants to creative exploits, and secular leaders are welcome to attend at 9 am on Saturday, 8th November, 2025. The workshop aims to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to drive positive change in their communities.

Archbishop Odafe's visit includes a crusade at the Ho Dome E.P. Park on November 7 and 8, 2025, with evening sessions starting at 4 pm. The crusade promises to be a spirit-filled experience, with a focus on spiritual renewal and empowerment.

The people of the Volta Region are optimistic about the Archbishop's visit, hoping that his message of empowerment and self-reliance will inspire positive change. With the right support and guidance, the region can unlock its full potential and become a driving force for Ghana's economic development.
