Ho, Volta Region, Ghana - The Volta Trade and Investment Fair has brought attention to the untapped potential of women-led enterprises in the region, with a call for global partnerships and a thriving 24-hour economy. The event, aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs, has drawn attention to the region's rich resources and the critical role women play in driving economic growth.

Victoria Amefadzi Yawa Doe, District Chief Executive of the North Tongu District, emphasized the need for a conducive environment that reduces barriers, nurtures creativity, and promotes inclusivity. "We must create an enabling environment that allows women to thrive, innovate, and contribute to the economic growth of our region," she stressed.

Doe, flanked by Hon. The fair highlighted the region's potential for sustainable development, with a focus on women-led initiatives. Doe emphasized the importance of networking, building positive business communications, and value chain distribution channels to make the Volta Woman a robust global player.

"We must work together to create a thriving 24-hour economy, where women are not only contributors to economic growth but also global players with clout," Doe stated. The event was hailed as a significant step towards empowering Volta women and unlocking new pathways into emerging global markets.
