Comrade Mawutor Agbavitor, Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Volta Region, has emphasized that the party's commitment to Ghana's progress is fueled by an unshakeable love for the country and its people. Speaking during a working visit to the North Tongu Constituency, flanked by Hon. Victoria Amefadzi Yawa Doe, DCE of North Tongu, and Bright Ege, Acting Regional Secretary of the NDC, Agbavitor recounted his long-standing involvement with the party.

Agbavitor, who recently assumed a position on the GNPC Board, noted that his involvement with the party dates back to his days as a CDR Cadre immediately after completing sixth form, long before the NDC's formation. "I've never had any appointment in the party until now," he said, underscoring his selfless service. "Our motivation for serving should not be solely driven by gain. We should be driven by love for the party, Ghana, and its people."

Agbavitor's sentiments were echoed in a Facebook post, where he urged party members to rise, united and resolute, in their commitment to Ghana's progress. "Arise, arise for Ghana," he wrote, invoking the national anthem's call to duty.

With the NDC-led government just under a year into office, Agbavitor emphasized the importance of unity and collective purpose in driving Ghana's development. He commended the government for initiatives such as opening regional offices and possibly establishing district offices of institutions like the Minerals Investment Fund, GiPC, and the Signals Bureau.

As the party looks to the future, Agbavitor stressed the need for steadfastness and sustainable service, citing opportunities ahead that require dedication and loyalty. His message was clear: the NDC's strength lies in its love for Ghana and its people, and its commitment to serving the nation with integrity and purpose.
