The Member of Parliament for Central Tongu, Hon. Gabby, has demonstrated his unwavering commitment to improving education in his constituency with a pledge of GHS250,000 to support various educational initiatives.

The MP announced the intervention at a community engagement program where he underscored education as the backbone of sustainable development. According to him, the fund will be directed towards providing scholarships for brilliant but needy students, supporting infrastructural development in schools, and supplying essential teaching and learning materials across the constituency.

Hon. Gabby explained that his vision is to ensure that no child in Central Tongu is left behind due to financial constraints or lack of resources. “Education is the most powerful tool we can use to transform our communities. By investing in our young people, we are investing in the future of Central Tongu and Ghana as a whole,” he stated.

Stakeholders, including traditional leaders, teachers, parents, and students, welcomed the announcement with excitement and praised the MP for prioritizing education. They emphasized that the gesture will help bridge existing gaps in access to quality education and motivate young learners to strive for excellence.

The commitment forms part of Hon. Gabby’s broader agenda of promoting human capital development in the constituency. In recent years, he has supported teacher training programs, donated ICT equipment to schools, and initiated several youth empowerment projects.

With this latest GHS250,000 commitment, the MP reaffirmed his pledge to work closely with education authorities, communities, and development partners to create lasting change in Central Tongu.
