Wendy Sung-Suma Bagonluri, popularly known as Queen Sung-Suma, celebrated her birthday in a remarkable way — not with parties or pageantry, but with love, charity, and service to humanity. The biochemist, entrepreneur and founder of the Sung-Suma Foundation visited the Bahass Mental Health Rehabilitation Centre, where she made a donation to support patients undergoing recovery and mental healthcare treatment.
The visit formed part of her ongoing mission to promote mental health awareness, care for vulnerable groups, and inspire humanitarian service among the youth. Items donated included essential supplies that support the daily upkeep of residents at the facility. The interaction was also accompanied by moments of encouragement, prayer, and shared hope, reminding beneficiaries that society has not forgotten them.
Speaking during the visit, Wendy emphasized the importance of compassion and mental healthcare support, adding that her foundation remains committed to community welfare, mentorship and social development. “Mental health matters, and we must show love to everyone battling silent struggles,” she highlighted.

Beyond philanthropy, Wendy Sung-Suma is also the founder of DyLuri Beauty, a Shea-based cosmetics brand empowering women through value addition and agribusiness. She previously represented the Upper West Region as a Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) Queen in 2023, where she championed culture, empowerment and sustainability.

With consistent acts of service like this, Queen Sung-Suma continues to inspire hope, dignity, and humanity — proving that true queens do not only wear crowns, they touch lives.
