President Mahama’s cosmic misstep and what it means for Ghana’s future

Have you ever wondered how the stars and numbers played a part in Mahama’s big win? Many of us believed that his “Resetting Ghana” slogan was more than just words—it was a call to align with a new cosmic order. When he won the elections, it felt like the universe itself had given Ghana a fresh start, with Aquarius in full swing, promising innovation and a true reset. But lately, things seem to be off track.

Back during the campaign, everything pointed to a big change. Mahama tuned into the energies of rebirth and transformation that Aquarius represents. His ballot number, 8, symbolised cycles, karma, and the chance to correct past mistakes. It felt as though Ghana was stepping into a new era, one where history would be respected yet the future would be boldly reimagined.

However, as the new term unfolds, signs show that his actions might be working against that cosmic momentum. For instance, he accused the previous government of running a family-and-friends setup, yet many of his own appointees are close friends and family. It’s as if he forgot the lesson that the universe demands balance—when you point fingers at nepotism, you better lead by example.

Then there’s the matter of his much-touted job creation policy. Instead of creating new opportunities, his administration has been busy sacking and revoking appointments in what seems like a tit-for-tat response to past wrongs. Instead of pushing Ghana forward, this move might actually be dragging us backwards, creating an energy of unrest and negativity.

Perhaps one of the most striking shifts is seen in how he’s treated our national heritage. Ghana’s Independence Day is a moment of grand celebration, a time to honor our history and culture. But this year, the festivities are set to be minimal. The official explanation is that the country is broke from previous mismanagement. Yet, many see this as a move away from the vibrant spirit of our nation—a spirit that aligns with the cosmic energy of renewal and transformation.

Even more concerning is the failure to honor promises of change in representation. Mahama had pledged a 30% quota for women in his cabinet, but we now see just 2 out of 19 ministers are female. In many traditions, the divine feminine is key to balancing power and creating a nurturing society. Ignoring this not only undermines the promise of a fresh start but also disrupts the natural order of balance that Ghana desperately needs.

What does all this mean in cosmic terms? When leadership deviates from the path of renewal, the universe rarely stays silent. The energies that once seemed to bless Ghana’s reset are now being countered by actions that throw off the balance. In our culture, we believe that what goes around comes around. If you stray from the cosmic order, there might be a time when forces beyond our control push back, leading to instability or even more drastic corrections.

Many of us are now asking: If these actions continue unchecked, what might be the cosmic consequences for Mahama’s government? The answer isn’t written in stone, but the signs suggest that ignoring the call for balance could lead to public discontent, political upheaval, and economic turbulence. Ghana’s people, who once rallied behind the promise of a reset, might soon demand a true change—one that honors both our past and the progressive energy of the present.

In the end, it seems that the universe is reminding us that genuine transformation isn’t just about empty slogans. It’s about aligning our actions with the energies of balance, renewal, and inclusivity. For Mahama and his government, the cosmic message is clear: get back on track or prepare for a forceful realignment. Ghana deserves a leadership that not only talks of resetting but also lives by the principles of justice and balance that our ancestors and the cosmos both cherish.

Let’s hope that this cosmic wake-up call isn’t ignored for long, because if it is, the energy of the stars might soon force a change, whether the NDC is ready for it or not in 2028.
