Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus, has issued a fiery response to a doom prophecy directed at him by Prophet De Lighter Roja.

Prophet Roja recently made headlines after claiming to have foreseen the passing of Defence Minister Dr Edward Omane Boamah a day before the minister’s tragic death in a military helicopter crash. Following the incident, old prophecies by the self-acclaimed man of God resurfaced, including one about A Plus.

In that prophecy, Prophet Roja claimed he had seen a vision of a deadly accident involving A Plus near Kasoa. He urged Ghanaians to pray for the outspoken MP to avert the tragedy.

But A Plus was clearly unimpressed. Taking to his Facebook page on Monday, August 11, he turned the tables on the prophet, claiming he too had received a revelation from God.

According to the MP, his “prophecy” showed that Prophet Roja himself was in danger.

"Last night, God revealed to me that some boys will physically attack the so-called ‘Prophet’ Roja very soon. Let’s pray for him!” A Plus wrote.

The comment has sparked heated debate online, with some praising A Plus for his boldness, while others caution against trading spiritual warnings in the public space.

Prophet Roja is yet to respond to the MP’s remarks.
