Prophet Fire Oja has reacted to the recent directive that all prophecies concerning national matters should be sent to the Presidency before being made public.
Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo Welewele on Okay FM, the outspoken man of God said that while prophets would comply with the directive, there must also be adequate logistical support to make it practical.
“If they want us to send every prophecy to the Presidency, then they should provide us with transportation and fuel so that the message can reach them quickly,” he stated.
According to Fire Oja, pastors and church leaders have a duty to respect the leaders of the nation, and therefore he has no problem with following the order. However, he emphasized that the government should also understand the challenges many prophets face in conveying such information promptly.
He added that the move could foster a healthier relationship between the clergy and state authorities if both sides work together in good faith.
